Oh, what a night!! The team at Gekko Systems had a wonderful night on the last day of May 2024 celebrating some amazing milestone anniversaries. It was a great fun night with cocktails named after our 25 and 20 years of service staff members, delicious food, great speeches and live music. Among the honorees were Nigel Grigg, who reached an impressive 25-year milestone with the company, along with Dan O’Halloran, Tim Hughes, and Paul Meyer, each celebrating 20 years of service.
The company is so fortunate to have contributors such as Nigel Grigg who first commenced working for Gekko co-founder Sandy Gray in 1994 as a summer metallurgy student while Sandy was managing a local Victorian gold mine. Nigel was Gekko’s first employee.
The event celebrated the company’s culture of longevity and loyalty, as a large group of employees were also recognised for reaching the 10- and 15-year marks in their careers with Gekko.
The event not only recognised the individual achievements of long-serving employees (with some catch up from covid restrictions) but also served as a reaffirmation of Gekko Systems’ commitment to creating a workplace culture that values loyalty, passion, wellbeing and mutual respect.
