Case Study - Ciénega

Fresnillo PLC operates the Ciénega mine which is located approximately 200km NW from the city of Durango, Mexico. In 2011 the site underwent a mill expansion, part of their expansion was to expand the gravity gold circuit and increase the overall recovery of gold. The purchase of Gekko’s Batch InLine Leach Reactor (ILR150BA) has enabled Ciénega to achieve consistently high recoveries of gold, >98%, from their batch centrifugal concentrators. The Ciénega ILR is Gekko’s first ILR installation into Mexico. Download File
